We're proud to announce that PYB was just selected to receive a Classroom Earth National High School Challenge Grant. The award, offered by the National Environmental Education Foundation, is given to only ten high schools from around the country. Classroom Earth and the National Environmental Education Foundation will showcase PYB and the other 9 selected schools as a national model for how to integrate environmental content into high school curricula.
This award will support PYB's summer garden project and a 3-month long environmental education course titled "The Politics of Food."
